November 15, 2012 by Wildman

In this video, we get up close and personal with good ol’ Mr. Franklin to test a new process for getting extreme close ups for photo and video. Known as macro shots, these extreme close ups are perfect for showing off the details of things like wedding rings, coins & stamps, food, and products.

the remote flash

May 7, 2012 by Wildman

This new piece of gear has become one of my favorites….in a “flash.”

It’s always fun to test out a new piece of gear, and I’m very pleased with our new remote flash trigger. It’s making this can of Owen’s favorite soda — the rare Lemon Fanta — look even more delicious.

On location as the tour photographer for Chuck Swindoll and Insight for Living on their 2012 tour of the Holy Land, Owen snagged this interactive panoramic photo.

michael craven

February 27, 2012 by Wildman

Theologian Michael Craven wanted a gritty, serious tone to match his passionate message. We set him up with strategically placed lighting to give him lots of texture and placed him in a black void to make his face — and his message — demand attention.

blog in a box

October 13, 2011 by Wildman

Allow me (Owen) to brag for a minute. For Sarah’s birthday, I had this idea to create a blog where all of our friends and family could post memories and birthday greetings. Great. But how do you wrap a blog? Here’s how. 🙂 I made a card and put it inside a fun box. And, of course, I snapped a photo. Because, if you don’t have photos, it didn’t happen, right?
